The Way We Train

  • We discovered a long time ago that we are in the people business. For that reason we are committed to equipping our people with the skills that they need to win.
  • We have a dedicated training team that will equip you to grow personally and professionally.
  • We also have a strategic training partner, Focus 3, who teaches us the mind-set and skill set of elite athletes and high performance teams. Focus 3 teaches R-Factor and Mark of a Leader and also provides ongoing coaching to our leaders and our employees.
R-Factor

You are going to get trained on a simple system called R-Factor. It is based on the equation E+R=O. That stands for Event + Response = Outcome. What it teaches you is how to respond to the events that you get in life and at work. Outcomes are not determined by the events you experience: outcomes are determined by how you choose to respond. The O that you get is determined by the R that you CHOOSE. We will train you how to manage the R.

Leadership - Mark of a Leader

We are deeply committed to developing our leaders. We use a simple system called Mark of a Leader, and it focuses on two leadership priorities. Build Trust and Achieve Results. We train our leaders to do both. Trust without results is unacceptable. Results without trusty is unsustainable.

We will teach you our systems (technologies) and “Rairdon Culture Playbook” as you start your journey with us through our Mentoring Programs. We are currently looking for new hire candidates for Service, Sales, and Finance roles where you will be partnered with a mentor.

  • We have created tools for the mentor and mentee to reach goals together.
  • Typically the timeline for a new mentorship is structured to be 90 days or 3 months.
  • Mentoring is an extension of our onboarding process and a rewarding experience for both mentor and mentee.
  • As a mentee you will be offered a guaranteed compensation pay plan until the day of your graduation celebration.

Our History - Our Future

Greg Rairdon, the founder and CEO is the central figure of the Rairdon Automotive Group, a local family -owned business in Western Washington. A native of Edmonds, Mr. Rairdon and his family currently reside in the greater Seattle area. Greg began building the Rairdon Auto Group in 1993, after purchasing his first Chrysler dealership in Marysville. Building on the success of his first dealership, Rairdon has acquired a total of 11 dealerships. As Rairdon grows, so do the opportunities for our employees.
